PRACTICES
There will be TWO MANDATORY practices and one conditioning day. Practices will be held for 1 1/2 hours on Mondays and Wednesdays sometime between 5:00-8:00 OR Tuesdays and Thursdays for 1 1/2 hours sometime between 5:00-8:00. This will depend on the coaches schedule. Strength and Conditioning along with Plyometric Training will be held on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays, for 1 1/2 hours sometime between 5:00-8:00. Players are asked to bring a notebook/journal to practices and conditioning to track progress and take notes. The season officially starts December 1. As part of your volleyball tuition, each player will receive a membership to iRoy Multi-Sport Facility. They may start using this membership as soon as they accept our offer. The membership will expire on June 1. If they wish to continue into the summer, a discounted membership will be given. Also, we are offering the parents and siblings of players a discounted rate during the season of $30 per month with no annual fee. Our volleyball courts are available to members/players anytime they are not being rented. Players are asked to keep track of their additional workouts in their notebooks/journals. There is a nutritional component to our training as it is fundamental that athletes learn how to properly fuel their bodies to maximize their potential. This year we will be utilizing our on site, full service kitchen facility for cooking demonstrations. More information will be sent regarding this component.
UNIFORMS
We are in the process of deciding our uniforms for the 2025 season. We will be asking you to submit sizes when placed on a team. We will provide the players with a full uniform (1 pair of shorts, 2 long sleeved jerseys) a backpack will be offered at a discounted rate along with a 25% discount on volleyball shoes listed on the Mizuno website: www.mizunoUSA.com. This year, we will be offering sweatpants, sweatshirts, and t-shirts at an additional price.
TOURNAMENTS
Our tournament schedule has not yet been finalized. We guarantee 8 tournaments this year, at least 4 of them will be on site. Opportunities for more tournaments will arise at additional cost, if the player is interested. Tournament play starts in January. The tournaments vary but there will be 5 one day tournaments and three weekend tournaments (February 8 -9, February 15-16, March 15-16). Our tournaments are sanctioned by AAU.
REQUIREMENTS
You will be required to hold a current AAU Volleyball Membership (not included) once you have accepted our offer. You are asked to submit proof of this number to the director so you can be placed on a registered AAU roster. The total cost for the season (December-May) will be $2800 A $500 deposit is due by November 1 Half of the remainder ($1,150) is due by December 1. The other half of the remainder ($1,150) will be due February 1. In addition, we require that proof of date of birth, the iRoySport Liability Waiver, and the Code of Conduct forms all be submitted by the first practice.
